Candidates and propositions we have canvassed for and have supported, and still do

Congressman Bera grew up believing America was a land of opportunity, where if you worked hard and played by the rules, you could reach your full potential. He attended California’s public schools from grammar school through medical school, earning both his B.S. and M.D. from the University of California, Irvine. He put himself through medical school, working part-time, taking advantage of federally-funded student loans, and graduating with less than $10,000 in debt. He credits much of his success to his country’s investment him, and he’s working to ensure that we continue to invest in hard working Americans to keep the American Dream alive for the next generation

Under Cooley’s leadership, Rancho Cordova has grown into Sacramento County's number two jobs center; the well-managed government and its steady reinvestment in community assets have been key factors in bringing new businesses to the city. By 2010, during his second term as Mayor, employment at the former Mather Air Force base exceeded the levels it had when the base closed.

2014 Candidate Questionnaires

Roger Dickinson is an overall green fave! Endorsed by the Sierra Club too- Dickinson always knows every issue pertinent to our local environment or he'll find out about it. Ready to debate on the flash, there was no way the Green Democrats could not resist making it known that Roger is our pick for State Senate Race District 6. He is also endorsed by pro-tem Darrell Steingberg.
